So I guess I'm just having one of those days!!! 1 of those I want my hair back kinda days :-/ Seems kinda silly when I think about it. I cut it off by choice, free will.... told my stylist if she didn't chop my 5 yr. old beautiful locs of love the eff off I was gonna do a Brit Spears! I was rebelling! Telling the world that it could take my job, my man, my apartment etc, but I was still in control so here take my hair!!!  Walked out the shop singing "Make me Over, Make Nice"!!!  I was screaming "I Am Not My Hair" India Arie style from the rooftops! Ha! Take that stinky, sucky, crappy asshole of a world!!!

But today, I just want my hair back....

Don't get me wrong, I Love my hair! Long, short, natural, or loc'd! I love getting up and only spending 10 minutes on my hair! Love using my God given comb (my fingers :-} to quickly, cutely and stylishly coif my doo.  Love the freedom of running thru the rain without care or worry that I won't be as cute as I was when I left the car. The perks of short natural hair are a plenty. But my long hairstyle offered perks too... right?!?!?
